Escape to the pristine wilderness of Lake Tahoe, California, for an immersive Hiking X Yoga Retreat hosted by Venturing Out, Wild Soul Events, and Mountain Lotus Yoga. Nestled among the towering pines and the crystal-clear waters of this iconic destination, this retreat offers a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, where you can reconnect with nature and deepen your yoga practice. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or a yoga lover, this experience is designed to rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.

Location:
The Retreat House is located in Historic Downtown Truckee. You'll have the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Sierras while enjoying comfortable, rustic accommodations.

What to Expect:

  • Daily Yoga Sessions: Revitalizing yoga sessions led by Kellee Rich, E-RYT, YACEP of Wild Soul Events. Classes will take place both indoors at the beautiful Mountain Lotus Yoga studio and outdoors near high alpine lakes with breathtaking views. Classes carefully curated in theme and sequenced for all-levels.

  • Guided Hiking Adventures with Venturing Out: On Saturday, you’ll explore Lake Tahoe’s breathtaking landscapes with guided hikes led by Nikki Umatum of Venturing Out. Discover hidden, high alpine lakes and stunning views of granite peaks. You will be led through a series of Breathwork in preparation for cold plunging. Hikes are carefully selected to accommodate all fitness levels, offering a mix of moderate to challenging routes. Hike will be announced during the welcome dinner.

  • Mindfulness and Meditation with Wild Soul Events: Incorporating mindfulness into your outdoor adventures, Kellee Rich of Wild Soul Events will lead you through daily guided mindfulness practices. These sessions are designed to help you center your mind and bring awareness to the present moment. Practices will take place in serene natural settings, from the pine forests to lakeside views, allowing you to fully embrace the healing power of nature. Through daily guided meditation sessions at the Retreat House and the Mountain Lotus Yoga Studio, you will learn to tap into your wild unknown.

  • Nourishing Plant-Based Cuisine by Venturing Out: Throughout the retreat, enjoy wholesome, plant-based meals prepared by Nikki Umatum of Venturing Out. Meals are designed to nourish and energize, with a focus on locally-sourced, organic ingredients. Whether you’re enjoying a hearty lunch while hiking, or a relaxing evening dinner, you’ll savor vibrant, nutrient-rich dishes that fuel your adventures and support your yoga practice. *All food provided will be gluten-free & plant-based Sample Meals: Fruit & Yogurt Bar, Enriched Quinoa Veggie Bowls, and Hearty soups.*

  • Venture into the Wild Unknown Workshop with Wild Soul Events & Venturing Out: The Venture into the Wild Unknown workshop, hosted by Wild Soul Events in partnership with Venturing Out, is an immersive experience designed to reconnect participants with nature, themselves, and the mysteries of the wild. Exploring the Wild Soul Archetype through lecture, meditation, and journaling to will reclaim your wild self.

  • Evening Community & Reflection: Unwind in the evenings with like-minded souls. Share stories from the day’s adventures. These gatherings offer the perfect opportunity to connect with others, reflect on your experience, and foster a sense of community.

Wild Soul Events provides the spiritual and mindful framework, helping participants tune into their inner wisdom, while Venturing Out focuses on outdoor education and adventure. Together, they create a transformative journey where individuals can deepen their connection to nature, cultivate self-awareness, and find inspiration in the unknown.
