COURSE OVERVIEW:
The Art of Teaching Vinyasa: Advanced Teacher Training is a comprehensive program designed to deepen your understanding of Vinyasa yoga and provide practical skills to guide others effectively, and to craft an intelligent sequence for class. Led by Kellee Rich, E-RYT, YACEP, this training emphasizes both the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga, aiming to create well-rounded, knowledgeable teachers capable of delivering transformative experiences. The training spans two core modules, each focusing on a different aspect of teaching. We will analyze and create amazing classes together!
1. Module - Intelligent/Intuitive Sequencing
Focuses on mastering the Art of Intuitive Sequencing in Vinyasa yoga classes.
Covers how to Structure Classes that flow smoothly and engage students safely.
Explores alignment, breathwork, and rhythm to Create Sequences that feel intuitive and thoughtful.
You'll learn how to design sequences that accommodate different skill levels and align with yogic principles.
2. Module - Integration
Theming: Learn how to weave meaningful themes into classes that resonate with students.
Cueing: Develop effective verbal cues for guiding students through postures with precision.
Music: Understand how to choose and integrate music to enhance the class atmosphere.
Philosophy: Review the Eight Limbs of Yoga, focusing on how to incorporate these philosophical elements into your teaching.
Integration & Student Teaching: Practical opportunities to apply these skills in mock teaching sessions, allowing feedback and refinement.
Spiritual Toolbox: Additional tools designed to support your spiritual growth, ongoing practice, and teaching journey.
