Donation Based: Yoga Nidra to Benefit WZGT
Immerse yourself in the deeply nourishing and restorative practice of Yoga Nidra, in the style of Integrative Restoration (iRest).
About this special Class
This 75 minute, trauma-informed class begins with an orientation to Yoga Nidra and its history, followed by gentle stretching to prepare your body for rest. Class will then move into an iRest Yoga Nidra practice.
This guided, somatic (body-oriented) meditation facilitates deep rest, making way for the recognition of one's essence nature to reveal itself. With the use of props, blankets, and sound, the body will be fully supported to open into the nourishing depths of this practice.
Class concludes with time for integration and debrief, offering an opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and connect with one another as desired. No previous experience is needed—this practice benefits all beings, whether you’re new to meditation or seasoned.
