Join us for the first annual Community Coat & Clothing Swap at Mountain Lotus Yoga Studio! This event is a wonderful opportunity to find gently-used clothing while giving back to our community and the planet.

What to Bring:
Gently-used coats, jackets, sweaters, and winter wear for all ages and sizes
Clean, gently-worn clothing in good condition (men's, women’s, and children’s)
Accessories like hats, scarves, gloves, and boots
What Not to Bring:
Items that are torn, stained, or excessively worn
Undergarments, socks, or personal items (for hygiene reasons)
Large household items, toys, or non-clothing-related items
Clothing Condition:
Please bring only freshly laundered items free of pet hair, strong odors, and stains. Our goal is to make this swap a pleasant experience for all, so high-quality, clean donations are essential!
How It Works:
Early donations are encouraged! This allows time for the organization of clothing off-site before the swap. No donations will be accepted by Mountain Lotus Yoga prior to 11:30 am on Sunday, December 1st.
Early drop-off location: 10237 Annie’s Loop.
Arrive with items you’d like to swap and browse through others’ contributions. Please make sure items are organized upon arrival at 11:30 am and ready for placement on tables/coat racks.
For every item you bring, you can select a new piece to take home. Or feel free to donate more than you take if you’re simplifying your closet! You will be given a ticket number for reference.
Any unclaimed clothing items at the end of the swap will be donated to Thrifty Tales. Any unclaimed coat items will be donated to Mr. D’s Coat Drive on 101.5 FM.
If you do not have items to donate, that’s okay! You will have the opportunity to donate $20 to Sierra Community House for entry into the Community Swap!
Please bring a reusable bag for any items you’d like to take home.
Why Participate?
Swapping clothing is a sustainable, cost-effective way to refresh your wardrobe while reducing waste. It’s also a chance to connect with others in our community who care about reusing resources and giving back.
